THC-B Origin 

Tetrahydrocannabutol is part of over a hundred cannabinoids that naturally occur in the hemp plant.  An extremely trace cannabinoid at that, THC-B was discovered initially in late 2019.  In fact, it was unearthed along with tetrahydrocannabiphorol (THC-P) by a team of Italian researchers analyzing the hemp plant’s chemical composition through liquid chromatography.

THC-B’s Psychoactive Properties

THC-B is on a level playing field with THC-P, a cannabinoid considered to be the most psychoactive in all of cannabis.  Still, we don’t yet know the specifics of the high in terms of its dominant effects – for instance, whether it creates a feeling of euphoria, whether it’s associated with couchlock, etc.

HHC-P’s Psychoactive Properties

HHC-P is the most powerful of all when it comes to its high.  It works on CB1 receptors at possibly 30 or so times the rate of traditional HHC, but that doesn’t mean it’s 30 times as psychoactive – like we said, it may be closer to 10x or so.  The high may also be intensely euphoric, comparable to THC-P.  Because HHC-P is the newest of all, we know the least about it, and aren’t as easily able to refer to the experiences of others who have tried it.

HHC-P is a cannabinoid, and so it works with the body’s endocannabinoid system beyond producing intoxication, to regulate different bodily processes through interaction with cannabinoid receptors in the nervous system, digestive system, immune system and more.  But, HHC-P also happens to be the cannabinoid we know the least about. 

That’s because it’s so new that not only has there been no analysis done on its potential, but there isn’t anyone who has used it long-term, who has been able to record its overall effects on functions of the body.  Because it’s so similar to HHC and delta 9, albeit much stronger, it likely offers similar to delta 9.

The main reason for taking HHC-P is for recreational use, as its high can be extremely enjoyable.  If you’re seeking out a cannabinoid stronger than delta 9 THC, then HHC-P is probably a great choice.
