#1: Look at the Third-Party Lab Reports

Before buying any THCV product, make a point to look through the third-party lab reports, because that’s where you’ll get to read important, unbiased information confirming the product’s legitimacy.  Third-party lab reports come from a third-party testing facility, approved by the state, and should be easy to find on the company’s website.  Look at the cannabinoid breakdown column, and you should see the amount of THCV that’s in the product, as well as its purity level, which should be about 90% or so.  Keep in mind that a lot of companies combine THCV with other psychoactive cannabinoids like delta 8, because THCV’s psychoactive properties are relatively unstable, so seeing a THCV + delta 8 product is very common and by no means indicates a fake.

#2: Look at Online Reviews

Another helpful thing to do is look at the company’s reviews thoroughly before buying from them.  If the company is making fake products, the reviews will indicate that pretty clearly.  Besides looking at reviews on their website, do some searching around the internet to hear what people have to say about the brand, to get a feel for how people feel about their THCV products.
